Hunter Muller is the President and CEO of HMG Strategy, LLC, the fastest growing provider of innovative thought leadership and networking events for CIOs and senior IT executives. Hunter’s focus over the past ten years has been researching the work and leadership styles of top transformational executives at leading organizations around the world. He has built an extensive network of senior IT leaders at companies such as: IBM, Microsoft, VMware, Boeing, McKesson, Caterpillar, Flextronics International, Intel, Waste Management, Shell Oil, CVS Caremark, Terex, Boston Scientific, Salesforce.com and many more. Given his research findings, Hunter has published several books: The Transformational CIO (Wiley, March 2011),On Top of the Cloud (Wiley, January 2012), Leading the Epic Revolution (Wiley, September 2013) and The Big Shift in IT Leadership (Wiley, July 2015). Given the unprecedented opportunity IT leaders have today to drive innovation and business results, Hunter’s fifth book, The CIO as CEO of Technology, will be published in late 2016. As a result, Hunter’s unique position of knowing the thoughts, challenges, and opportunities of the IT Leader, he is asked to speak at a variety of venues such as IBM’s Cloud Expo and on TheStreet.com.

Hunter and HMG Strategy support a variety of IT related charities, and Hunter personally gives back his time and ideas as a member of the Executive Committee of the Fairfield/Westchester Chapter of the Society for Information Management.
